Absolutely fun, informative and worth every penny. Staff was friendly and taught us how to saddle a horse and also the different breeds of each horse. We took the two-hour ride and it was every bit of two hours. Worth the time and money if your family is in the area; in fact, we were able to drive from St. Louis to the stables, have a nice lunch locally (not fast food), and then have time to hit Elephant Rocks State Park and make it back home all in one day without rushing. Well worth it.
